Tips and Tricks
The verse card I included in the first post was made by layering several papers from the “Madison Avenue” line by the Lost and Found paper company. A word of caution: there is literally glitter on a couple of those sheets, and it has a way of hanging around longer than you may expect. For example, you may awaken the next morning and find a random speck of glitter stuck fast to your forehead. Go figure.
The accent is a piece of rickrack topped with a flower I cut out of a scrap of paper from the same line. The font is Sparrow by scrapnfonts.com. My preferred choice of adhesive is a tape runner. I try to pick up a few of them every time I’m at a craft store, as I go through them like crazy. For cutting my paper, I use a paper trimmer to keep things more exact than I could with just scissors. My advice for what to spend money on when it comes to paper crafting is buy the best paper trimmer you can afford. It is my best crafting companion for every verse card I make.
